The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track in our Neurohospitalist Division. The position is focused on quality improvement/clinical effectiveness measures, medical education, and clinical care. Applicants must have an M.D, D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. degree. The successful candidate must be board certified or eligible in Neurology. All Neurology fellowships considered.

Teaching responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents on bedside rounds for the consult and inpatient services. This would also include teaching opportunities in our newly accredited Neurohospitalist fellowship program, to start this summer. Subspecialty interests are also encouraged.

Clinical responsibilities include attending on the consult and inpatient neurology services of our Philadelphia area hospitals as part of our growing Neurohospitalist Division. These responsibilities would include time spent at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, at another Philadelphia area Penn Medicine affiliated hospital and on our teleneurology service.
