Neurohospitalist

The NeuroHealth Institute at Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a Neurohospitalist in north Austin. Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology is preferred.

Position Highlights

• Join as 1 of 2 Neurohospitalists to provide inpatient neurological care in a community hospital setting; tele-stroke opportunities are available.
• Work schedule is an average of 7 days on/off (182 shifts/year) with opportunity for extra pay shifts in our telemedicine group.
• The regional neurology team is comprised of 8 neurologists, 2 APPs, 3 technologists, nursing, and administrative support staff.
• The Neurohospitalist will join a larger collaborative team of Vascular Neurologists and Neurohospitalists who cover stroke and inpatient care needs for the system; currently comprised of 25 physicians.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is a 168-bed, full-service hospital with a Level IV Trauma designation and a Level II Maternal Designation.
