Duke Health Neurohospitalist

The Department of Neurology at Duke is seeking a Neurohospitalist for its expanding Hospital Neurology Division. Graduating residents and fellows, as well as experienced Neurohospitalists, are welcome to apply. This physician will do the majority of their clinical work at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, plus some time at world-renowned Duke University Medical Center.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to choose to be 100% clinical, or have a more balanced service between inpatient & academia. Our Neurohospitalists work shifts 18 weeks/year and pursue other subspecialty interests such as Telestroke and/or clinic, if so desired.

The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment and excel in critical thinking, quality improvement, and communication. Ability to collaborate effectively with other subspecialists and APPs and trainees is a must. You will find ample satisfaction and meaning to your work in this faculty role at Duke, with the opportunity to expand your scope of practice as much as desired!
