Position Description

Penn Medicine seeks a Neurohospitalist for a full-time position at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA.

Grand View Health is a Penn Medicine Strategic Alliance Partner that serves the Bucks and Montgomery County communities in Southeastern, PA, and has 168 licensed beds at the main campus. Grand View is a growing hospital that will be adding a 190,000 square foot, six floor pavilion connected to the existing hospital in July 2023. The new hospital pavilion will include 52 private patient rooms designed to accommodate ICU or PCU levels of care, a new emergency department with 28 treatment rooms and three trauma bays, and 10 new operating rooms. Additionally, Grand View Health recently earned a 2-year accreditation for their Level II Adult Trauma Program and offers the highest-level trauma center serving the Upper Bucks and Northern Montgomery county region as one of only two Level II centers located in Bucks county.

The Neurohospitalist will be closely connected with the Penn Medicine Department of Neurology as a member of our growing Neurohospitalist team providing consistent high-quality care and ensuring that patients can be easily transferred to our Philadelphia-based hospitals when needed. The physician will collaborate routinely with the 4-provider Penn Medicine Neurology practice located on the campus of Grand View hospital, insuring a smooth transition for patients post-discharge. The Neurohospitalist will round on patients Monday-Friday and participate equally in the Penn Medicine neurology call group.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible in Neurology
  • PA state license and DEA
