The Neurohospitalist Fellow Education Series
2023-2024 Neurohospitalist Fellow Education Series!
We will once again be hearing from our current Neurohospitalist Fellows on a variety of interesting cases/topics germane to the practice of a neurohospitalist.
These 90-minute virtual meetings will be led by Dr. Shefali Dujari (Stanford University) and Dr. Jarrett Leech (University of Colorado).
All sessions will be on Zoom from 1:00 - 2:30pm PT / 4:00 - 5:30pm ET.
Transcranial Doppler for Cerebrovascular Disease
June 12-14, 2023 in Seattle, jointly provided by Pacific Vascular, Inc. & Swedish CME, in collaboration with Swedish Neuroscience Institute. The TCD case studies and interpretation will allow physicians to complete the full 100 TCD cases required for the ASN Neurosonology Exam to acquire the RPNI credential.

The Neurohospitalist Society (NHS) Annual meeting provides CME content targeted to clinicians providing care for hospitalized patients with neurological disease. Course content will address common medical conditions encountered by neurologists in the inpatient setting, disseminate strategies for delivering high quality inpatient neurology care, and discuss systems that optimize care delivery for this unique population.
Educational Objectives:- Identify best practices in neurohospitalist care models that meeting attendees can implement in their own practice
- Apply quality metrics and measure them in order to address gaps between current practice and ideal state
- Utilize protocols for challenging diagnoses in order to provide high quality, cost-effective care
- Apply methods to evaluate and address biases, disparities, and barriers in neurohospitalist practice
- Apply lessons learned from care delivery, training, and personal wellness during the COVID pandemic to the betterment of neurohospitalist practice and personal wellness
